Room Leader – Join the Team at Our Brand-New Nursery

Location: Lots for Tots Childcare, Hilton
Salary: £26,500 – £27,456 | Hours: Full-time

We’re looking for a warm, responsive and experienced Room Leader to join the founding team at Lots for Tots Childcare, opening this September in Hilton. This is a unique opportunity to shape a calm, supportive space for babies to thrive — with a leadership team who care about your wellbeing and professional growth from day one.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading the daily running of either the Baby, Toddler or Preschool Room (ages 0–2)
  • Creating a nurturing, stimulating environment that supports secure attachments
  • Planning and delivering routines and activities based on the EYFS
  • Providing responsive care that supports each baby’s emotional and physical needs
  • Leading and coaching your room team with warmth and clarity
  • Building strong partnerships with families
  • Completing observations, assessments and progress tracking
  • Supporting children with additional needs and working with external professionals when required
  • Ensuring a safe, clean and calm space for children to learn and grow

What We’re Looking For:

  • Level 3 childcare qualification (essential)
  • Experience leading or co-leading in a room setting
  • Excellent understanding of the EYFS, child development and safeguarding
  • Strong communication skills and a kind, reflective approach to leadership
  • A team player who’s ready to grow alongside a brand-new setting
